    Build.One Portal

    What is Portal

    Portal is a Build.One application that handles all the use cases related with the development of solutions using the Build.One technology. With Portal developers can do the following process

    • Open Workspaces to develop new Applications
    • Create Releases
    • Deploy Releases
    • Administrate the deployments

    2 Steps by step guide

    1. Login in the following services

        We need this to log in in the different tools that are used with Build.One and this is only needed the first time

      2. Log in with Atlassian accountLog in with Atlassian account
        (Using the user provided by mail; make sure you use the Organisation “Training” not “Training Org’s”)
      3. gitpod.io
        (Using Bitbucket)
    2. Open the Build.One Portal in your Chrome Browser and login using the credentials provided by mail

      Usually you would initially register, but for training purposes we have already created a Tenant and a User for you, including the relevant integrations.

    1. In the sidebar select the "Projects" item if it is not already selected.

      For the training we are using Bitbucket as the Git-Provider. Therefore, in the upper left Panel you see all the Bitbucket-Workspaces you have access.

      In the upper right you see your GIT-Repositories. Every Repository represents 1 Project.

      In the lower part you see all the Branches of the selected Repository.

    3. Select your branch (TrainingUser<YourUserNumber>-hands-on) in the panel at the bottom and click on the button “Launch Pro-Code Workspace”

      A Build.One Pro-Code Workspace is like a full-blown development machine in the cloud, it contains a Linux OS, Progress, Databases, Development-IDE and everything else you would have on your local PC to develop. In addition, it also contains the whole Build.One functionality, including the No-Code/Low-Code Tooling. To access these tools, you need to login:

      Make sure you accept the “Popup window” in your browser to open the new browser tab with your workspace

    5. See your workspace opening
