Normally we create entities out of a database schema with the B1 QuickBuilder. Now we create an entity by importing an excel file and afterwards create the database definition for a table based on this entity.

1. Prepare your excel
1. You can use the following example file and adjust it

2. In this example a entity customer and the fields prename, Sales, Birthday and SelfHdl with different types were created. Also the fields will be assigned to the entity customer (see the instanceslines). Please replace the column ObjectModule with your desired Module
2. In Build.One go to Integrate → Data → Entities + Fields
3. Choose Excel Import in the Ribbon
4. Upload you excel and check the created entity

1. Launch screen SchemaDesktop

2. Leave Dateiname and Speicherort empty
3. Choose your created entities in the field Repository Entities
4. Change to your gitpod environment and go to tmp -> pasoe and see your created df file
5. Copy the relevant entries in the your current existing df file. You can find this here src -> backend -> DB -> [Your DB Name] -> [Your DB Name].df
