You can enable and disable the change tracking for forms and grids
1. Summary
Change tracking is the orange dot that appears when you change a data record in a grid or a form. This can be switched on or off. This can be set very granularly down to each individual data field.

If switched on = the orange dot appears when changes are made If switched off = the orange dot does not appear when changes are made
3. Step by Step Guide
- for grids: Open the object master of the grid For forms: Open the form designer of the form
- select the field where you want to turn it off
- Search for the attribute: hasChangeTracking
- Use the checkbox to control whether you want to have tracking or not
